O-Crest (officially "Spotify O-Crest") is a live house on the 5th floor of the O-EAST building in Shibuya's Dogenzaka area. Opened in 2003, it's one of the Shibuya-O group of venues alongside O-EAST, O-WEST and O-nest. The venue describes itself as a Shibuya live house that has built up the indie scene, and its lineups cover rock, punk, pop and more.

What it's like
With room for up to 250, O-Crest is a mid-sized room. A travel listing notes that the stage is wide and that the sound system is a popular feature. The venue is above O-EAST, a much larger hall, and its programming ranges across rock, punk, pop and other music events.
One thing to plan for: the official site stresses that you walk up the stairs to the 5th floor, and a travel listing warns there is no elevator. If you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, keep that in mind.
How to get there
O-Crest is in the same building as O-EAST, in the Dogenzaka area of Shibuya. Listings give these walking times:
- Shibuya Station (Hachiko Exit): about 7 to 10 minutes
- Shinsen Station (Keio Inokashira Line): about 3 minutes, according to an older listing
Look for the O-EAST building. A directions guide says the front of the building is the O-EAST entrance and the O-Crest entrance is to its left. O-nest is only a short walk away, so if you're heading to both, give yourself a little extra time to find each entrance.
Tickets and the door
Ticket details are listed on each show's page on the venue's website, and many shows use e+, LivePocket or other ticket sites. Each show page on this site links to the official page when one is available. If you're new to the system, our first-timer's guide explains Adv/Door prices and reservations.
- Drink fee: A separate one-drink fee is collected at the entrance. Our live house guide explains how it works.
- Bags: The official site lists 72 coin lockers. Availability on the day may vary.
- Last train: Check your last train home before you go. Most trains in Tokyo stop around midnight.
