A report from the sold-out Tokyo show of 青春群像録’s first spring tour at Shimokitazawa ERA on May 2, 2026: the setlist, the encore, and why it was the best of their shows I have seen.
On May 2, 2026, I went to the Tokyo date of 青春群像録’s first spring tour at Shimokitazawa ERA. It was a sold-out show, and I had seen the band several times before, but this was the best of them.

About the tour
青春群像録 is a four-piece that formed in a high-school light-music club in 2022. They won the Grand Prix at the band contest JYOJI ROCK, where bands such as ルサンチマン, クジラ夜の街 and リュックと添い寝ごはん have placed in the past. After one single on streaming services and a venue-exclusive single, they released the mini album 『変わらずに変わっていく』 in 2026. This tour was built around that record, and the Tokyo show at ERA was a two-man show with sidenerds.

What I saw
It was a long set at the band’s own event, and perhaps for that reason the setlist was different from what they usually play.
They opened with “sheep,” where the two guitars weave around each other beautifully, then went into “boy” and on to “pray,” a song from the new mini album. Between songs, the MC was relaxed and down to earth, quite different from the cool, tight playing, and it was a nice contrast that made the show comfortable to watch.
Then came “神愛 / shenai.” I would not be exaggerating if I called it their signature song. By this point the packed room had been drawn into the world of 青春群像録.
A few more songs followed, and the main set ended with “別離.” For the encore, they played “D301,” a rare quiet number, and closed the night on that gentle note.
I have seen 青春群像録 live a number of times, and this was the show that felt the coolest of them all.
