Power Push: SYAYOS Is Going Major. Catch the “Music Daihōshutsu Tour” in 2027

Four-piece band SYAYOS from Ina, Nagano is making their major debut on SPEEDSTAR RECORDS. Here's why we're pushing them, what to listen to first, and the full 17-date nationwide tour.

SYAYOS (シャヨウズ) is a four-piece band from Ina, a city in Nagano Prefecture. Formed in July 2024, they released their first album in 2025, played FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL's ROOKIE A GO-GO stage in 2026, and have now announced their major debut on SPEEDSTAR RECORDS (Victor Entertainment) in November 2026. To mark the debut, they're releasing two digital singles in two consecutive months and heading out on a 17-date nationwide tour, the “Music Daihōshutsu Tour” (ミュージック大放出ツアー), from January to April 2027.

This is a Power Push: a band and a tour we think you should know about. If you're visiting Japan next winter or spring, or already live here, this is a great chance to catch a band right at the moment they break through.

Major debut and two new releases

SYAYOS will make their major debut with SPEEDSTAR RECORDS, part of Victor Entertainment. The debut comes as two digital single releases in two consecutive months:

The “Music Daihōshutsu Tour” kicks off in January 2027, right after the second release, so the new songs will be fresh when the band hits the road. (“Daihōshutsu” is the word Japanese shops use for a big giveaway sale. Think of it as the band pouring out everything they have.)

Who is SYAYOS?

What follows is our editor's take.

Formed in 2024, SYAYOS released the masterpiece album “Anthem 1.1” in 2025, followed by the single “Lane” in 2026. They're a four-piece band based at Ina GRAMHOUSE in Ina, Nagano, and they also play plenty of shows in Tokyo. Just two years after forming, they've already appeared at numerous circuit festivals. In 2026 they played ROOKIE A GO-GO at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, and they were invited to Next Music from TOKYO, a showcase that many great bands have played over the years. They've even performed in Canada. (This year, the Next Music from TOKYO lineup alongside SYAYOS is an impressive one: ハク。, 揺れるは幽霊 and pudelhunds.)

“Anthem 1.1” caused a big stir on social media after its release. It swallows many genres and still declares, loud and clear, “this is SYAYOS.” Hina Suzuki's expressive vocals and melodies bring the pop appeal, and a meticulously arranged band sound supports them.

Why you should see them live

I believe SYAYOS's real strength is the live show. Last year I went to see them, curious how such carefully arranged songs would be handled on stage. The delicate layers of the recordings were turned, by the overwhelming volume pouring out of the amps and the band's rising emotions, into a direct, explosive force. I found myself in tears while watching.

At recent shows they play many songs beyond “Anthem 1.1,” but if you want to prepare, “Spaceboy” is a must. My personal favorite is “Yawarakai Atsuryoku” (“Soft Pressure”). You can enjoy the show without any homework, but give “Anthem 1.1” a listen first and get fired up with everyone at the venue.
