Shibuya TOKIO TOKYO Guide: A Stylish Live House Across From Parco

What first-time visitors need to know about TOKIO TOKYO in Shibuya: how to get there, what the room is like, capacity, payment, tickets and practical tips.

TOKIO TOKYO (トキオトーキョー, nicknamed "Toki-Toki") is a live house in the basement of a building almost directly across from Shibuya PARCO. It opened on March 20, 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, and it has quickly become known as a place where up-and-coming artists play their first big shows. It's one of the easiest live houses to reach on foot from the station, and it looks more like a stylish hotel lounge than a typical basement venue.

Info checked against the venue's own website, its listings on ticket sites, and public references on October 18, 2026. Details can change, so confirm on the official page for your show.

What it's like

TOKIO TOKYO is a compact room with a bar space inside the floor, so you can take a break with a drink without leaving the room. The venue describes its interior as something between a hotel and a hair salon, and it takes pride in the cleanliness of its restrooms, which is not something every basement venue can say. The lineup leans toward young and rising artists, and the venue itself organizes events such as "ONE WEEK WONDER," the opening party that ran for six days in 2021.

Because the room is small, popular shows can feel crowded. Arrive near the Open time if you want a spot close to the stage.

How to get there

TOKIO TOKYO is a short walk from Shibuya Station, in the Udagawacho area near Parco:

  1. Leave Shibuya Station via Exit A2 (about 3 minutes) or Exit B1 (about 4 minutes) on the underground side. If you're at the JR station, plan on about 5 minutes on foot.
  2. Head toward Shibuya PARCO. The venue is in the building almost directly across from it.
  3. Go down to the basement (B1F).

Shibuya's streets are crowded and confusing, so search for "TOKIO TOKYO" in your map app too.

Tickets and the door

Ticket details are listed on each show's page on the venue's website. Many shows use e+ or LivePocket, and many artists also take reservations directly (called torioki, where you give your name and pay at the door). Each show page on this site links to the official page when one is available. If you're new to the system, our first-timer's guide explains Adv/Door prices and reservations.
