Shindaita FEVER Guide: A Roomy Live House Right Outside the Station
What first-time visitors need to know about FEVER in Shindaita: how to get there from Shimokitazawa, capacity, the popo cafe next door, tickets and practical tips.
FEVER (officially "Shindaita LIVE HOUSE FEVER") is a live house that opened in 2009 just outside Shindaita Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, the stop next to Shimokitazawa. It's known for having more breathing room than many Tokyo venues: the entrance, stage and backstage areas are all laid out generously, and a cafe called popo shares the premises. The lineup runs from rock to ambient and beyond.
Info checked against the venue's official website and venue listings on October 22, 2026. Details can change, so confirm on the official page for your show.

What it's like
FEVER is a mid-sized room with a wide, comfortable layout. Listings describe plenty of space from the entrance through to the stage, which makes it easier to move around than in a small basement venue. The booking is broad: rock bands, singer-songwriters, electronic and ambient acts, and anniversary events and tours from established artists all appear in its schedule.
The popo cafe is on the same site, so you can get a drink or something to eat before or after the show, or just talk about the music with friends. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, a short ride from the busier streets of Shimokitazawa, and the station is right across the road from the venue.
How to get there
FEVER is along the big road (Kannana, Loop Road 7) that runs beside Shindaita Station. Listings give these walking times:
- Shindaita Station (Keio Inokashira Line): about 30 seconds to 1 minute. This is the easiest way to arrive.
- Setagaya-Daita Station (Odakyu Line): about 6 minutes
- Shimokitazawa Station (Keio Inokashira Line West Exit): about 10 minutes on foot, or one stop by train
From Shibuya, the Keio Inokashira Line runs directly to Shindaita.
Tickets and the door
Ticket details are listed on each show's page on the venue's website, and many shows use e+, LivePocket or other ticket sites. Each show page on this site links to the official page when one is available. If you're new to the system, our first-timer's guide explains Adv/Door prices and reservations.
- Drink fee: A separate one-drink fee is collected at the entrance. Our live house guide explains how it works.
- Bags: Listings show no coin lockers and no parking, so travel light.
- Last train: Check your last train home before you go. Most trains in Tokyo stop around midnight.
