What it's like
Daisy Bar is a small-to-mid-sized room with roughly 140 people, so the stage is close. Listings describe a mix of rock, pop and acoustic acts, plus band showcases, tours and one-man shows.
The building also houses Laguna, a multipurpose lounge for about 60 people that opened on the 1st floor in 2008 and is used for smaller events and gatherings. A listing says popular bands, including Creephyp, came to celebrate the venue's 10th anniversary in 2015.
How to get there
Daisy Bar is in the South Exit area of Shimokitazawa. Listings give these walking times:
- Shimokitazawa Station (Odakyu Line and Keio Inokashira Line, South Exit): about 4 minutes. A few listings say 5.
Look for the Elsant Kitazawa building and head down to the basement. Since the area has many small live houses, search for "Shimokitazawa Daisy Bar" in your map app too. Another South Exit venue, Chikamatsu, is also in the area.
