Shibuya WWW & WWW X Guide: Two Theater-Style Live Houses in a Former Cinema
What first-time visitors need to know about WWW and WWW X in Shibuya: how to get there via Spain-zaka, how the two rooms differ, capacity, coin lockers, tickets and tips.
WWW and its larger sibling WWW X are two live houses in the same building at the top of Spain-zaka, the sloping street in Shibuya's Udagawacho area. The building was once the art-house cinema Cinema Rise, and both rooms are built in the former cinema space. Produced by the music channel Space Shower TV, WWW opened in November 2010, and WWW X opened on its second floor in September 2016.
Info checked against the venue's official channels and venue listings on October 22, 2026. Details can change, so confirm on the official page for your show.

What it's like
Both rooms are standing venues that take advantage of the old cinema's tall ceilings, and the operator says both use top-level sound, lighting and video equipment. They feel quite different, though.
WWW (basement) keeps the stepped floor of the former cinema, and it's often called a "theater-style" live house. WWW X (2nd floor) has a flat floor and a column-free hall with a high ceiling, and it holds more people. A listing notes that the 4th floor has a lounge and locker space.
Check which room your show is in before you set out, since WWW and WWW X are on different floors.
How to get there
Both venues are about a 7-minute walk from the Hachiko Exit. One written route goes like this: from the scramble crossing, take the street to the right of the Q-FRONT building, go straight, turn left between the two Seibu department store buildings, and walk about 180 meters to the corner by ZERO GATE, where you take Spain-zaka up the slope. The Rise Building is on the left near the top.
- Shibuya Station (Hachiko Exit): about 7 minutes on foot
The route includes a slope, so give yourself extra time on show nights, and search for "WWW X Shibuya" in your map app.
Tickets and the door
Ticket details are listed on each show's page on the venue's website, and many shows use e+, ticket pia or other ticket sites. Each show page on this site links to the official page when one is available. If you're new to the system, our first-timer's guide explains Adv/Door prices and reservations.
- Drink fee: A separate one-drink fee is collected at the entrance. Our live house guide explains how it works.
- Bags: Both rooms have coin lockers (108 at WWW and roughly 300 at WWW X per listings), which is convenient if you're carrying luggage.
- Last train: Check your last train home before you go. Most trains in Tokyo stop around midnight.
