Flowers Loft Guide: A Live House Right Outside Shimokitazawa Station
What first-time visitors need to know about Flowers Loft in Shimokitazawa: how to find the entrance, the two-floor layout, capacity, tickets and practical tips.
Flowers Loft is a live house in the basement of the SHIMOKITA FRONT building, directly in front of Shimokitazawa Station. It opened on February 2, 2020, as the 12th venue run by LOFT PROJECT, the group behind Shinjuku LOFT and SHELTER. It's about as easy to reach as a live house gets, which makes it a good first stop in Shimokitazawa.
Info checked against the venue's official website and venue listings on October 18, 2026. Details can change, so confirm on the official page for your show.

What it's like
Like Shinjuku LOFT, Flowers Loft is split into two areas. The main floor with the stage holds up to 250 standing, and a bar lounge near the entrance has a bar counter and a DJ booth. The lounge is set up as a café and bar that runs from the afternoon into the early morning, so you may see people hanging out there between sets. Reports say the bar counter can be used even without a ticket.
The schedule is a mix. Evening shows by indie bands, solo artists and pop acts sit alongside daytime shows and late-night events, so it's worth checking the Open and Start times on each listing. Our own listings for this venue also include many daytime shows that start before noon.
How to get there
It's about as easy as it gets. The venue is right across from the station gates:
- Leave Shimokitazawa Station through the East Exit or Central Exit (Odakyu Line) or the Central Exit (Keio Inokashira Line).
- Look for the SHIMOKITA FRONT building, with its distinctive copper-plated front and plants, directly facing the station.
- At its opening in 2020, a dedicated staircase beside a bubble tea shop on the right side of the building front led down to the venue. Shops change over time, so follow the signs or ask a staff member.
If you're unsure, search "Shimokitazawa Flowers Loft" in your map app.
Tickets and the door
Ticket details are listed on each show's page on the venue's website. Many shows use e+, LivePocket or TIGET, and many bands also take reservations directly (called torioki, where you give your name and pay at the door). Each show page on this site links to the official page when one is available. If you're new to the system, our first-timer's guide explains Adv/Door prices and reservations.
- Drink fee: A separate one-drink fee is collected at the entrance, and cash is reportedly preferred. Our live house guide explains how it works.
- Bags: Coin lockers are reported to be unavailable, so it's safest to travel light.
- Late nights: Some events and the bar run into the early hours. If you plan to stay, check your last train home. Most trains stop around midnight.
